EADVisanon-profitassociation,foundedin1987,whosemissionistoadvanceexcellenceinclinicalcare,research,educationandtraininginthefieldofdermatologyandVenereologyandtoactastheadvocateandeducatorofpatientsparticularlythosewithcutaneousorvenerealdiseases.EADVorganizesannuallyonemaincongressinoneoftheEuropeancapitalsandonespringmeeting,offerstraining,fosteringcoursesandonlineteachingforCMEMISSIONOFTHEACADEMY(A)toadvanceexcellenceinclinicalcare,research,educationandtraininginthefieldofdermatologyandvenereology.(B)thefundingandtheoperationofanAcademywiththefunctionofprovidingthehighestqualityofadvancedmedicaltraininginDermatologyandVenereologyandrelatedfieldsofmedicine,scienceandresearch.(C)thepromotionofthehigheststandardsofclinicalcareintheaforementionedspecialties.(D)tobeconcernedwithsupportingthemaintenanceandenhancementofhighstandardsinprofessionsrelatedtoDermatologyandVenereologyandpublichealthservicesandotherprofessionsorpracticesthattheAcademymayfromtimetotimeconsiderrelevant.(E)toactastheadvocateandeducatorofpatientsparticularlythosewithcutaneousorvenerealdiseases.(F)toprepare,edit,publishandcirculatesuchpapers,books,journalsorotherliteraryorelectronicallybasedmatterasmayseemconducivetotheobjectivesoftheAcademy.(G)tocarryoutsuchotherlawfulactivitiesasmaybeincidentaltoorconducivetotheattainmentsoftheobjectivesoftheAcademy.
